Our Philosophy
We work with the rhythms of the season to produce a boutique, quintessentially English Sparkling wine which is an expression of each passing year.
We believe that nature comes first, and our goal is the provision of natural habitat alongside the vineyard activity.
To secure this vision, we work to balance nature with farming, Northbrook leaves 60% of its land for wildlife to thrive.
Northbrook is foremost an extension of our own family values. A place which allows nature and rural enterprise to coexist and flourish side by side.
Our extensive native hedgerow planting provides corridors, song posts, shelter and nesting opportunities for wildlife. Our rich meadows also provide shelter and nectar plant diversity
We were delighted to record a significant increase in bird species diversity, 14 of which are protected and notable. 20 additional bird species were recorded in 2023 and there has been a continued presence and increase in the number of reptiles, insect life, butterflies and bumblebees.
It’s our intention that our low intervention approach will leave a positive and sustainable legacy for generations to come.
