It was important for Northbrook to commission a local artist when creating a logo.
Chloe Robertson is a freelance artist based in the heart of the South Downs National Park living and work in South Harting. She studied art at the University of the Arts London, Winchester School of Art and Portsmouth University.
Chloe says:
‘It's been a joy to work with the team at Northbrook. They were looking for an authentic expressive logo with supporting illustrations to tell the story of their brand. Initially I worked up different concepts and sketches to make sure the idea was a fit. The chosen route was an illustrated crest that incorporated key parts of their narrative. A painterly and natural look to the linework. For the supporting illustrations I used simple lively pencil sketches. I can't wait to see how their story evolves’
