Northbrook are immensely proud to announce that their English Classic Sparkling produced for Longdown has won the IEWA Best English Sparkling Wine 2026 courtesy of our collaboration with our great friends at Longdown Vineyard.
Hot on the tails of our super successful collaboration with the Pig Hotel Group what a fabulous way to launch our new collaboration with the newly planted Longdown Vineyard at Twyford.
Run by our friends Mark and Louise Papworth and their family, Longdown have planted their first vineyard in Twyford and whilst their vines grow to produce their own grapes a collaboration with Northbrook has been forged.
The very first supply of Northbrook wines produced and sold to Longdown to 'own label' scooped the prestigious award and the popular Rose won the bronze.
We have always produced far more grapes than we need each year and the lovely Longdown team will look after the vines at Northbrook and we will share the harvest with them for the next few years.
Going forward Longdown will produce their wines at The Grange winery and Northbrook will continue to produce their first class wines at Itasca where chief wine maker Ben continues to shoot the lights out for us producing the superb Northbrook range.
